Anyone in the world

So let me now say thank you very much to Okom Mazi, Okom Bernard Elendu, Messrs Abaegbu, Ota, Onuoha, Ibe, Mbagwu, Abosi, "Aghara Aghara", Enwere, Principal Ogbonnaya, Mrs. Igbokwe (Dan Fodio Road Primary School, Aba, 1973/1974,) and others. Wherever you may be today, please know I appreciate everything you did for me. And I mean it from the bottom of my heart. The older I get the more I appreciate you. And in the unfortunate event that you have passed on, I want your surviving spouse and children to know you made a monumental difference in my life and the lives of my fellow students.

wordpress.orgTeacher Gift Since we are all more conscious of living "green", if the teacher is someone who enjoys coffee or tea, why not a thermos or personalized mug. You can include coffee beans or tea bags as an added bonus.

However, you may also be one of those folks who is aware that giving gifts, too, holds its own pleasures. "It is better to give than receive," so the saying goes.

Gift for Teacher My teacher asked me what I have been up to. He asked about my family and where I lived. I told him that I was married with children and where we lived. I told him we were in a hurry to get home before it got dark and that I would be back to see him every chance I get. And I kept my word the next time I was in Nigeria.

I believe that our modern medicine really goes about health backwards. Prevention is more important than silver bullet at the end, which doesn't always work, duh. I volunteer with organizations that deal with children's health, rebuilding their faces, birth defects, all that kind of stuff. I was even on my local cities mayors committee, under the umbrella of the president's council on the Americans with Disabilities act. Before they wrote the act, they wanted to know on a grass root level up, how people with disabilities are affected. What are their needs, how can they be an asset to the community and themselves? So I guess advocacy and humanity is the key ingredient there. I could talk for hours on that, but that's kind of how I see it.

Arrive on time so that your dancer has plenty of time to dress, warm-up, and be ready to hit the stage. Late arrivals cause a great deal of unnecessary stress on the day of a performance.

Photo Tote Bag. A personal photo on a tote bag makes a great personal gift, some are full color, and the entire bag is covered with the picture! Perfect for a teacher who often carries many items back and forth from home to school.

If I was the environment minister...: The teacher can conduct a short speech competition in class. The students would be asked to talk about what they would do for the environment if they were the minister for the environmental affairs in their country. The winner gets some craft made in the class out of waste materials.

Little Things: Things like statement magnets, keyrings, and t-shirts are a clear way of showing any teacher that they are respected and loved. A statement like "no.1 teacher" on a broach or hat have been known to bring teachers to some eyes.
